Port Blair, Jan 13: The Department of Social Welfare is organizing Puppet & Magic Show by reputed troupes namely M/s Dhumketu Puppet Theatre and M/s Ashok Biswas & Troupe under Govt. of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Song and Drama Division, Kolkata performing awareness campaign on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” during the month of January, 2016.
The team had already started the campaign and organized at various places of South Andaman. During the programme, a large crowd has shown keen interest and attended the programme. The team will also perform at Car Nicobar during this month.
