Port Blair, Jan 13: The NCC Junior Division (Army) cadets of GSSS, Havelock led by NCC teacher, Mr. Prakash Howladar conducted a cleanliness drive at Govind Nagar village. Garbage particularly empty glass bottles, plastic mineral water and soft drink bottles etc. were collected and handed over to Govind Nagar Gram Panchayet Havelock for safe dumping. The general public and tourists at Havelock appreciated the effort. An appeal was also made to the islanders of Havelock to keep the island clean by throwing garbage in proper places, dustbin etc.
