Port Blair, Jan 13: Closing ceremony of Inter Unit Annual Sports Meet (Football Tournament) was organised by A&N Police at PTS, Prothrapur ground on 12.01.2016 at 1435 hours. In this event 06 teams have participated from different Units/Stations. The Deputy Inspector General of Police, A&N Islands was the chief guest on this occasion. Final match was played in between PHQ Vs District Police (Bambooflat Division) in which both the teams scored 2-2 goals and finally it was decided in penalty in which PHQ team won the final match. The main motive of conducting of this tournament by the department was for interaction with each other, encouraging their skill and for physical/mental fitness.
