Port Blair, Nov 29: As part of Navy Week celebrations, cultural evening and barakhana was organized by Naval Component at INS Jarawa ground, Haddo on 27 Nov 15. Navy day on 04 Dec, is conducted to commemorate the daring raid by ships at Karachi culminating in the victory of India over Pakistan in the 1971 war. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of personnel including families and children under the Naval Component in addition to the esteemed guests from other components and A& N Administration. Commander-in-Chief Andaman & Nicobar Command Vice Admiral Pradeep Kumar Chatterjee PVSM, AVSM, NM was the chief guest for the grand event.
