Port Blair, Oct 15: The Adhyaksha, South Andaman Zilla Parishad, Smt Minati Biswas and Zilla Parishad Member, Chouldhari, Panchayat Samity Member and concerned Ward Member along with Smt Rashmi Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer and Officers of the Engineering Wing visited Chouldhari and Wandoor on Thursday to inspect progress of ongoing works of the South Andaman ZIlla Parishad.
The team inspected the construction of rural roads at Wandoor-1 and Indira Nagar, Sluice Gates and strengthening of existing Bund, PMGSY road at Wandoor, RO Plant at North Wandoor, Bund at Chouldhari. The Adhyaksha instructed the engineering wing to undertake repair works and prepare estimates of fixing of sluice gates after proper study and survey. She also assured the public that the new RO Plant at Wandoor will be commissioned soon.
