Port Blair, Oct 15: The 84th birthday of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was celebrated at the IGNOU Regional Centre here on Thursday in its premises. Dr S Vijayaragavan, Regional Director (i/c) presided over the function, while Dr. Francis Xavier, Principal, JNRM and Dr Venkatesan, Associate Professor & Head, Home Science, JNRM Colege, spoke Dr Kalam life and vision for India.
