Port Blair, Aug 18: The Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI APARAJITA) Minnie Bay, Port Blair is organizing a school Health Promotion initiative “PREVENT & PREPARE OR REPENT & REPAIR” across these Islands. The maiden programme was conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya-II Minnie bay on 15th Aug 2015 in its premise. A Health Education lecture on Healthy lifestyle and Food Safety was delivered by Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director (Health), Directorate of Health Service, Port Blair. Shri Mrinmoy Chatterjee, Programme office VHAI-APARAJITA Port Blair, coordinated the entire programme. The programme was attended by more than 500 students with teachers and staffs of KV II. Similar programmes will be conducted in near future also.
