Port Blair, Aug 13: The Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Education), Mr Raajiv Yaduvanshi, visited the NCC Office at Junglighat and reviewed the functioning of NCC in the islands on Wednesday. The Commanding Officer briefed the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Education) on various aspects of NCC. Discussions were held on the expansion of NCC in the islands so as to provide the facility in all parts of the UT. He directed that efforts should be made to raise a separate Air Force NCC Unit and also stressed that endeavour should be made to provide facilities to the cadets at par with their counterparts in mainland.
