Port Blair, July 24: The World population day and dengue month was observed at PHC Billyground on 23/07/2015. In the supervision of Dr. M.C. Jyothi, MOI/C PHC Billyground.
Dr. Suryakant Singh, Medical Office Ayurveda talked about the Dengue, its signs, symptoms, treatment and important steps to control the Dengue.
Mrs. Seema Brohma, Health Educator briefly explained about the disadvantages of over population in India.
Miss Josephine Esupadam, PHN briefly explained the methods of family planning.
During the meeting the speech competition was organized among Asha and Anganwadi workers and also the cash prize was awarded to the winners.
An exhibition was also organized in which family planning methods, Hand bills, Posters displayed for the general public. Miss Josephine Esupadam ,PHN gave a vote of thanks.
