Port Blair, May 8: The Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan is scheduled to arrive at Port Blair on 9th May, 2015 on a two-day visit to the Islands.
The programme of the Minister on the day of arrival includes meeting with the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, visit to the National Memorial Cellular Jail and Central Island Agriculture Research Institute (CIARI) and launching of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana at a function at the Tagore Auditorium, TGCE Campus, Middle Point, Port Blair at 05:30 PM.
On 10th May, 2015, the Minister will be visiting Havelock and Ross Islands. On completion of visit, the Minister will leave for the mainland on 11th May, 2015.
