Port Blair, May 8:The Lt Governor has expressed his displeasure on the delay in taking action by the A&N Police against a bus driver for causing a road accident which had resulted in grievous injuries to a lady namely, Smt Kalpana Sethi, R/o Garacharma. He has directed the DGP for immediately registration of a case and initiating action against all Police personnel involved in the matter for their acts of omission.
On February 27th 2015, a bus had hit Smt Kalpana at the Garacharma junction. A report in this regard has been sought from the Police Department, wherein they have informed that the case is pending due to non-receipt of documents from G B Pant Hospital.
