Trinath Billyground, Apr 02: A 52 year old resident of Prafullanagar village of Middle Andaman has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14 year old mentally challenged girl. The matter came into light when parents of the girl took her to hospital for medical checkup and doctors detected four month pregnancy. Later the girl identified 52 years old, Mr Pradeep Kumar Roy as the person who used to take physical advantage of her when her parents used to go out for daily works. The accused has been arrested under POCSO ACT 2012 and he will be produced before the court tomorrow, it is learnt.
