Port Blair, Mar 09: A solemn function will be organized on 10th March 2015 at 9 a.m at the Chatham Memorial to commemorate the arrival of first batch of Freedom Fighters of First War of Independence in these islands in the year 1858. Chief Secretary, A&N Administration will pay tribute to the heroes of First War of Independence by placing wreath at the Chatham Memorial followed by floral tributes by others.
