Mayabunder, Feb 25: For the first time at Mayabunder, a procession of women’s was held on 25.02.2015 at 4.30 pm from Sree Jai Ganesh Temple, Danapur to Murugan Temple, Mayabunder via Kali Temple with buckets containing flowers on their heads on the eve of “Ponguni Festival” at Karumari Amman Temple broadly situated in front of the Kadhirmalai Kandan Temple at Mayabunder for 08 days which will be concluded on 05.03.2015 by walking on fires by the devotees. The procession of women will continue daily for a week during evening hours as per the information received from the organizers of Kadhirmalai Kandan Temple.
