Diglipur,Feb 12 : As part of first stage activities under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), Ramnagar a total number of three camps has been organized today the 12th February, 2015 from 10.00 AM onwards at Panchayat Bhawan. Dr. B P Saha the Chief Medical Officer of CHC Diglipur was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Under Health camp activities, a team of Doctors checked up the patient attended the camp. Beside the health check up Health Awareness was also given to the school children as well as the villagers. The health team was consisting of eye checkup and blood investigation. About 60 patients were benefitted by the camp. The information regarding various schemes like Dulari Scheme was also highlighted in the camp for benefit of girls.
Under the ICDS Programme, Smti Kanchan Mondal, Mukhya Sevika highlighted the intervention in Anganwadis to improve attendance and quality of service delivery. She also informed about the Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Assistance to destitute women, Assistance to isable persons, Achievement under supplementary nutrition scheme & SABLA schemes under ICDS Project. Malnutrition, Importance of WHO Growth Plotting Chart was a special session by her.
Under the Awareness programme of Education Department Shri Joginder Singh, Vice Principal, GSS, Ramnagar highlighted the intervention in local schools improving attendance, enhancing quality of education, improving the quality of mid day meals etc.
