Port Blair, Nov 11: The Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council, Shri M Arumugam accompanied by the Councilor, Ward no. 10, Shri PB Murugan and senior officials of the Council visited Dairy Farm area on Monday to inspect ongoing development projects.
The Council is constructing multi-stored structure at Lal Bijan, Dairy Farm with a Health Club, four Shops in the ground floor, sanitary site office in the first floor and a Gymnasium in the second floor of the building. Once completed, the Sanitary Site office, presently functioning at HUDCO Colony, will be shifted to the new building of the Council.
The PBMC team also inspected the ongoing construction of a road from Lal Bijan at Dairy Farm.
The PBMC Chairperson, directed the Sanitary Officer to ensure proper cleanliness in the area. Instructions were also issued to the EE (Works) of the Council to accelerate developmental works to complete them in a time-bound manner.
