Diglipur, Nov 02: Suparna (Name Changed) a Class XII Student of a School at Diglipur on Friday attempted to commit suicide by hanging herself with the ceiling fan.
According to reports the Suparna failed in all the subjects in a recent test and instead of informing this to parents she brought an unknown person in the school as her brother to sign the progress card.
The girl has a sister in the same school and when her mother reached her class to sign progress card after signing her sisters’ progress card, she was informed that the progress card is already signed by the Suparna’s brother. The mother of the girl was shocked as she has no son.
As it happens normally, the mother heaved out all anger on the girl after reaching home, reacting to which the girl attempted to commit suicide inside her room in the evening hours.
However, family member managed to bring her down before it is too late and she was immediately rushed to CHC Diglipur, where her situation is said to be critical.
