Port Blair, Oct 20: Andaman Sheekha in 20th October issue broke the news about the action taken by Andaman and Nicobar Administration against hosting of Organic Jarawa Video in Public domain. Andaman Sheekha also reported that a case has been registered yesterday in this regard.
Now it has been learnt that the Producer and the Director of the documentary has been advised by the A & N Administration to remove the said documentary, from their official website and from the public portal as Indian and International laws do not provide for the making, advertising, publishing and distribution of photographs, videos, documentaries etc on the aboriginal tribes, particularly of PVTG’s without proper prior permission of the Competent Authority.
