Port Blair, Sept 07: Hindi fortnight is being celebrated in the Govt. Secondary School, Dairy farm in festive and colourful manner. Maximum work related to school is being done in Hindi during this period. A debate and essay competition was organized and Hindi book reading competition was held in the school library.
Teacher’s day was celebrated in the school premises along with rest of the country. The main attraction of the day was the Priminister’s interaction with the students shown on TV channel. A n elaborate arrangement were arranged for the students to watch the programme. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students, Earlier Smti. Rita Raghuvanshi, Vice Principal of the school welcome the gathering on this occasion and highlighted the importance of role of teachers in students life.
