Port Blair, July 17: A patient suffering from Guillain-Barre syndrome, died at G B Pant hospital after he was administered some injections by Super Specialist. The person Swapan Bepari, an employee of District Jail came to hospital complaining about Knee pain. Angry relatives, out of anger reportedly man handled medical staffs and vandalized medical instruments. They also demanded action against the doctor, who administered the injection. Later all senior police officers, SDM, DHS came to hospital to normalize things. Till last report poured in the protest by relatives of the victim continued. However hospital authority maintained that there was no negligence from the side of the doctor.
