Port Blair, July 15: The Andaman Nicobar Command today clarified that INS Kuthar had suffered only Propeller Damage in Andaman.
In a text message the PRO of ANC, Col. Harmit Singh today said that on 28 Jun INS Kutha,r as part of 8 ship fleet from ENC visiting Port Blair damaged a propeller while entering harbour in poor visibility due to torrential rains.
“Presently the Ship is enroute to Vizag post completion of mandated tasks. Board of Inquiry has recorded statements of all concerned. Matter is under investigation. Details will be available on completion of inquiry,” Col Singh added.
