Port Blair, Jan 15: In a gruesome Road accident this morning a motorcycle (Honda Shine) collided head-on with an Auto Rikshaw (AN 01 D 5420) at Prothrapur Basti, South Andaman.
The incident took place at around 7.30 am in which only the biker got serious injury in his leg while the Auto Rikshaw driver escaped unhurt.
According to eye-witnesses, the Auto Rikshaw was going towards Prothrapur Basthi while the motorcycle was coming from the opposite direction. The biker reportedly hit the auto while overtaking a truck.
Two Police PCR vehicles reached the spot immediately and shifted the injured biker to hospital.
