Rangat, Dec 13: Dozens of angry villagers, mostly ladies today thrashed a science teacher of Jankpur Middle School, Middle Andaman for allegedly molesting a class VI girl. Ladies of the area reportedly taught a lesson to the teacher by beating him with sandals.
According to reports a girl of Class VI today complained to her parents about this 48 years old teacher, Sujit Mazumder that he repeatedly commits such offences in school. Following which parents of the area reached the school and questioned other girls.
Other girls, who were also victim of the said teachers, came forward and complained against the teachers, following which the teacher was taught a lesson by ladies of the area. Soon police reached the spot and arrested the teacher. According to school students the teachers used to capture photographs of minor girls in his mobile.
Meanwhile, school authorities today told Andaman Sheekha that the teacher have been asked to stay from school and the school is waiting for a formal suspension order from Directorate of Education, Port Blair.
