Port Blair, Dec 13: The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Tatrakshika) Andaman & Nicobar organized classes on self defence for CG ladies on 13 Dec 13 at CGWWA Welfare Centre, Panipat Road, Haddo.
Mr. Raman Godbole and Mr Arjun demonstrated self defence by using simple techniques, which could be employed by ladies effectively to counter any undesirable situation.
During the session, the ladies were given sufficient exposure and practical demonstration as well. The class generated lot of interest among all the ladies present who enthusiastically took part in the practical demonstration. Mrs Jyothi Murthy, President Tatrakshika (A&N), on behalf of Tatrakshikas, thanked the Instructors for conducting the classes for the Tatrakshikas, which would enable the ladies to deal with untoward incidents.
