Port Blair, Dec 13: The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Tatrakshika) Andaman & Nicobar, in its continued efforts to educate the ladies of the CG fraternity organized a lecture cum presentation on various saving schemes available through banks. The Guest speaker Shri. Prashant S Shortri, Branch Manager, Bank of India, Port Blair covered topics related to saving schemes, opening of accounts, insurance benefits on opening savings account, types of loan on offer with particular reference to home and education loan being run by the bank.
All the ladies present showed keen interest in the lecture and were much enlightened on all the aspects as were briefed to them. Mrs. Jyothi Murthy, President Tatrakshika (A&N) thanked the guest lecturer for sparing his valuable time in providing the ladies an insight into the various aspects of the available schemes.
