Port Blair, Sep 10: The Port Blair Municipal Council in its endeavor to extend services to the citizens of Port Blair constructed a Sulabh Suvidha Kendra (Pay & Use Toilet) in the Premises of Private Bus stand at Mohanpura and the same has been inaugurated by Mr. P.B. Murugan, Chairperson. PBMC on 09/09/2013 at 10.30 a.m. in the presence of Mrs. Jameela Bibi, Ward Councillor in a well gathered function. Mr. M. Arumugam, SVC, Mr. I.P. Singh, JVC, Mr. K. Ganeshan, Chairperson, FTA and other members and officers of the Council were also present during the occasion.
Mr. K. Ganeshan, FTA Chairperson during his address said that the Suvidha Kendra has been constructed within a period of two years at the cost of Rs.68.00 lakhs for the benefit of passengers visiting the Private Bus stand. Mrs. Jameela Bibi, Ward Councillor expressed vote of thanks.
