Port Blair, Sept 01: National Sports Day has been celebrated on 29th August 2013. On this occasion a road race of 8 KM and Volly Ball match for (Men) have been organized by Regional Sports Council, Diglipur at the Vivekananda Stadium, Diglipur. The road race was started at about 6.30 AM and 46 participants participated and 6 team have been participated in Volly ball tournament. The final match of the tournament played between police team Vs Khudirampur. Khudirampur bagged the winner prize and police team got runner up. Mr. P C Tikait Deputy Education Officer, Diglipur was the chief guest to flag off the road race and to give away the prizes to the participants of volley ball tournament.
