Port Blair, Sept 01: On 26th August, 2013 in a function organized at Betapur Community hall the Chairman, Andaman Nicobar State Cooperative Union has inaugurated Tailoring, and fashion designing Centre for the welfare of the unemployed girls of the area.
In his inaugural speech to the trainees Kuldeep briefed the necessity of such training to get themselves independent and establish financially. Kuldeep also stated that after passing out, the trainees may constitute Self help groups and cooperatives, through which they may earn money to support themselves as well as their families.
Kuldeep recorded his happiness to notice that a good number of female folks have come out of their houses to get training in tailoring and fashion designing to support their families financially and make them self independent. He urged the trainees that they should not let their knowledge of tailoring and fashion designing, which they will acquire from this training centre, go waste. Total 30 members have registered themselves for this training. Prior to this 25 certificates were also distributed to the pass outs of the Tailoring and fashion designing centre of Dharmapur. Besides these pass outs and members of new batches, PRI members and members of the general public have also attended the function.
