Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 12: A 15-day Skill Development Training program aimed at empowering local women, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and community members was officially inaugurated today at Gram Panchayat Sippighat.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the Smt. Jyothi Raj, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Sippighat in the presence of PRI members and villagers.
Addressing the gathering, the Pradhan & officials of the industries department highlighted the pivotal role of women and SHGs in strengthening the rural economy. They encouraged the 20 participants to actively engage in the sessions over the next fortnight to gain practical skills for self-employment and micro-entrepreneurship.
The intensive vocational training initiative, with 20 participants enrolled, which began today will continue up to Oct. 29.
