Baratang, September 19, 2026: A multispecialty medical camp was successfully conducted at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Baratang, on 19 September 2026 by INS Dhanvantri, providing comprehensive specialist healthcare services to the local community.
A team of nine specialists from various medical disciplines participated in the camp, offering consultation and medical services in Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Dental, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Radiology.
The camp provided an opportunity for residents of Baratang and surrounding areas to access specialist medical consultation and diagnostic services close to their homes. Patients were examined, appropriately counselled and advised further treatment or follow-up wherever required.
A total of 470 patients benefited from the multispecialty camp, reflecting the significant need for and value of specialist healthcare services in the region.
The camp was conducted with the aim of strengthening healthcare accessibility in the remote area and providing timely specialist medical care to the community. The initiative was appreciated by the patients and local residents, who expressed their gratitude to the medical team of INS Dhanvantri and the staff of PHC Baratang for their efforts in making the camp successful.
