Port Blair, June 28: Delegations of Craft Instructors, Physical Education Teachers (PET) engaged under SSA and left-out Contract teachers led by the PCC President, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma today called on the Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) Bhopinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM at Raj Niwas. The Craft Instructors delegation requested the Lt Governor for engaging them in the Education department. The PET delegation engaged under SSA requested for enhancing their salary amount at par with other teachers engaged in the SSA while the left-out Contract teachers delegation requested for their reappointing as regular teachers in the Education department.
