Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 01: The Andaman and Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) is organizing the RED RUN, Marathon of 5 Km on 11th September 2026 (Friday) to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS among the general public. The RED RUN is open to individuals aged 17 years and above with participation in Male and Female categories.
The marathon will start and finish at Andaman Club, Sri Vijaya Puram. The route will proceed through Girls School, Flag Point, Mazar and back along the same route with the finish point at Andaman Club.
Attractive cash prizes will be awarded in each category with ₹10,000 for 1st place, ₹8,000 for 2nd place, and ₹5,000 for 3rd place.
Online registration for the RED RUN will be open from 1st September to 09th September 2026.
For those unable to register online, on-the-spot registration will be available on the event venue. All participants must report at 05:30 AM on 11th September 2026 (Friday) at Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram, for the marathon.
