Sri Vijaya Puram, June 24:The Directorate of Arts & Culture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, in collaboration with the National School of Drama, New Delhi will be organising a month-long theatre workshop at Andaman Club from June 25 to July 24, 2026. The inaugural ceremony of the workshop will take place at 3.30 pm on June 25, 2026.
All registered participants have been requested to attend the inaugural ceremony positively. Following the inauguration, classes on Acting will commence under the guidance of Shri Surender Sharma, Workshop Director and Shri Avinash B. Rao Deshpande, Assistant Director from National School of Drama, New Delhi.
Any interested participants who have not yet registered for this month-long workshop may also attend the inaugural ceremony and avail the opportunity to get enrolled in the workshop on the spot.
This workshop marks a significant step in nurturing theatre culture in the Islands, offering participants a rare opportunity to learn from eminent faculty of India’s premier theatre institution.
