
Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 06: As part of the nationwide Gau Samman Aahvaan Abhiyan, Swami Mr. Prakash Das Maharaj is currently on a visit to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, inspiring devotees and citizens with his message on Gau Seva and cultural values.
A spiritual and awareness program was successfully organized on April 5, 2026, at Chinmaya Mission, Sri Vijaya Puram, a large gathering of over 200 people assembled to listen to the divine words and guidance of Maharaj in the presence of Swami Sri Sudhananda Saraswathi, Swamy, Chinmaya Mission, Sri Vijaya Puram, Swami Sri Padavaduth, Madhya Pradesh and Swami Sri Prakash Das Maharaj, Rajasthan. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Gau Bhakts and members of the local community, reflecting strong grassroots support for the nationwide movement.
Mr. Anil Goel, Sambhag Prabhari, Gau Samman Aahvaan Abhiyan Samiti, A&N Islands commenced the event with a warm welcome address. The Gau Samman Aahvaan Abhiyan is a nationwide initiative aimed at raising awareness and mobilizing public support for the protection, respect, and welfare of Gau Mata. The campaign uniquely combines a missed call drive and a signature campaign, enabling widespread participation from citizens across regions.
As part of the movement in the islands, a Gyapan (memorandum) endorsed by Gau Bhakts will be submitted to the local administration on April 27, 2026, expressing collective sentiments and seeking supportive measures for cow protection and welfare.
Addressing the gathering, Maharaj emphasized the cultural, spiritual, and ecological importance of respect towards Gau, urging people to actively participate in the movement and contribute towards preserving traditional values.
