Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 27: JNRM hosted a felicitation ceremony at its college auditorium on 27th March 2026 to honour students who have been awarded Gold Medals by Pondicherry University for the pass-out batches of 2021-2024. The ceremony marked a moment of pride for the institution and the A & N Islands, as JNRM students continue to excel at the university level year after year.
A total of 30 students across UG and PG programmes, including Hindi, Bengali, Political Science, Geography, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Home Science and Physical Education, were felicitated for their outstanding academic achievements. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pearl Devdas, Principal, JNRM, congratulated all the awardees and commended the dedication of both students and faculty. She underscored that the recognition reflects not only individual brilliance but also the institution’s sustained commitment to academic excellence.
Earlier welcoming the gathering, Mr. Shadab Hasan, Chairman, Admission Wing, JNRM extended warm congratulations to all the Gold Medallists. The awardees also shared their personal academic journeys and experiences, which served as a source of inspiration for fellow students in attendance.
The ceremony was attended by faculty members, families of the awardees and final-year postgraduate students from the Departments of Political Science, Bengali, Hindi, Geography and Chemistry. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Dipon Sharmah, Academic-In-Charge, JNRM, while the programme was compered by Dr. Bhagya Lakshmi Vijayan, Assistant Professor, Department of English, JNRM.
