Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 15: Seva Bharti, in association with Makkaphad Gramwasi, successfully conducted a one-day Sports Meet on 14th January 2026 at Makkaphad. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of children from the age group of 4 years to 16 years, making it a vibrant and joyful celebration of sports and culture.
The Sports Meet featured various indigenous and traditional games, aimed at promoting physical fitness, discipline, teamwork and an appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage among children. The programme created a lively and inclusive atmosphere with active involvement from villagers, volunteers and parents.
The event was graciously attended by distinguished guests Mr. Sudip Tiwary, Mr. Utpal Sharma, Mr. Vikas Lal Patel, Mr. Partha Mondal, Mr. Dharma Rao, Mr. Bhuminathan, Mr. Sarvanan, Mr. Anbaalagan, Mr. Nagaswamy, Pujari Bala and Mr. Ram Chander, whose presence greatly encouraged the participants and organisers.
On this occasion, it was also announced that Sanskar Kendra for students from Class I to Class V will commence from 19th January 2026. The Sanskar Kendra aims to inculcate moral values, discipline and cultural awareness among young children. Mr. Raja, along with 12 members of the Makkaphad Committee, will lead and manage the Sanskar Kendra Committee.
Seva Bharti and Makkaphad Gramwasi expressed their gratitude to all volunteers, guests and villagers for their support in making the programme a meaningful and successful initiative for child development and community welfare.
