
Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 09: St. Mary’s School, Mohanpura successfully conducted its Science, Arts & Craft Exhibition “MERAKI 2.0” for the academic year 2025–26 on 8th and 9th January 2026. The exhibition provided an inspiring platform for young minds to showcase their creativity, innovation, and practical learning.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. J. D. Pusharaj, Principal, Government Senior Secondary School, Bathubasti, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in promoting experiential learning.
The main attraction of the event was the live presentation by the Primary Section students, who beautifully highlighted the essence of sustainable living and its benefits. Their confident explanations reflected a strong foundation in environmental awareness.
Students from higher classes displayed innovative science projects on sustainability, presenting thoughtful ideas through working and non-working models. The Mathematics section attracted visitors by proving that mathematics can be learnt with fun, through engaging activities and practical applications.
A special Craft Room, dedicated to the theme “Best Out of Waste,” showcased impressive exhibits made from recyclable materials, spreading the message of reuse and conservation.
The exhibition received an overwhelming response from visitors, who praised the students’ creativity and the school’s efforts in nurturing scientific temper and artistic skills. MERAKI 2.0 stood as a testimony to St. Mary’s School’s commitment to holistic education and sustainable values.
