Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 24: Directorate of Social Welfare under Nasha Mukt Bharat, Khushaal Bharat and NAPDDR, organized an awareness program on the ill effects of alcohol and drug abuse on 24th December 2025 at Chouldari Gram Panchayat.
The program was conducted in collaboration with the Police Department, DHS (NTCP), and IRCA, South Andaman, with the aim of educating the community on the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a drug-free society. Officials highlighted health, legal, and rehabilitation aspects, and encouraged community participation in prevention efforts.
The event received active support from local residents and was appreciated as a meaningful step towards a drug-free community.
