Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 27: Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Mr. P. K. Paul, Conservator of Forests, Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Van Sadan, by Hindu Rashtra Shakti for his commendable efforts in facilitating the acceptance of the formal proposal for the development of eco-tourism facilities at Saddle Peak National Park.
As per a press released issued by Hindu Rashtra Shakti the proposal, examined by the Divisional Forest Officer (Wildlife Division), Mayabunder, envisions the construction of a wooden bridge across the perennial stream, maintenance of a fair-weather road with regular upkeep in place of a motorable road, and the construction of a watchtower at the hilltop to provide panoramic scenic views. The plan ensures a perfect blend of ecological balance and tourism promotion.
Directions have been issued to the DFO (Wildlife), Mayabunder, for the eco-friendly development of visitor facilities at Saddle Peak as part of the three-year action plan (2026–27 to 2028–29).
