Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 05: The Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), in collaboration with the Directorate of Art & Culture, A&N Administration, organized a Painting Workshop-cum-Competition under Seva Parv 2025. The event was held on Sept. 26 in the Auditorium of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. Sri Vijaya Puram saw enthusiastic participation from college and school students.
Participants showcased their creativity and artistic expression through vibrant and meaningful artworks. After careful evaluation, winners were selected in both school and college categories.
In the school category, Brahmacharini Balaji of Navy Children School (Class VIII B) secured the first position. Bidisha Maiti (Class IX, Navy Children School) and Nimisha. S (Class XC, St. Mary’s School, Bathu Basti) followed in second and third positions respectively. Consolation Prize winners included Ankita Bepari (Class VI C, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Lamba Line), G Yamuna (Class XI, Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School), and Samiksha Deep (Class XII, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Bathu Basti).
In the college student’s category, Durga Rani Das from Pondicherry University was declared the winner. Tanisha Mistry from DIET (1st Year) and Sabuj Kumar Mondal from DBRAIT (ECE, 3rd Year) secured the second and third positions respectively.
All winners have been requested to attend the Prize Distribution Ceremony to be held in the Office of the Art & Culture Department at 3.30 pm on Oct. 7.
