Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 18: The 33rd Installation Ceremony of the Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair was held on 17th August 2025 at Seashell Coral Cove. The occasion was graced by Mr. S. Shahul Hameed, Chairperson, SVPMC, who released the club bulletin and extended his best wishes to the newly elected team.
During the ceremony, the office bearers for the year 2025–26 were formally introduced. Mrs. Pallavi Gupta took charge as President, while Mrs. Priya Krishna assumed office as Secretary. Other members included Tejraj, Ranjana Gulecha, Aayo, Vaishakhi Khurana, and Editor Nishat Salam.
Mr. Hameed also congratulated the outgoing team led by Mrs. Neeta Agarwal for their dedicated service to the club.
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Mr. Swami from Chimney Mission, Charter Member R. Mahajan, Mr. Hamid, Mrs. Neeta Agarwal, and Mrs. Pallavi Gupta. The charter was then ceremoniously handed over, with Mrs. Neeta Agarwal adorning Mrs. Pallavi Gupta with the Collar, symbolizing the transfer of responsibility and leadership.
On the occasion, the club also announced its forthcoming projects. These include continuing the cervical cancer vaccination program for girl children, organizing blood donation camps, and launching the “Meri Kitab” (My Book) initiative.
