Sri VijayaPuram, Jun 06: The Members of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) are on their official tour to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
On 05th June, 2025 at 04.00 PM, the Members of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST); Mr.NirupamChakma and Dr.AshaLakraalongwith their delegation visited the premises of VanvasiKalyan Ashram, Sri VijayaPuram.
Upon their arrival, the Members were accorded a warm and traditional welcome by the local Ranchi Community. The reception included a welcome song and offered floral tribute to the statue of the great tribal freedom fighter BhagwanBirsa Munda.
Following the welcome, an interactive session was held in the conference hall of VanvasiKalyan Ashram, Sri VijayaPuram. During the sessions, members of the Ranchi community openly shared their concerns, challenges and aspirations. The Members listened attentively and empathetically to the issues raised by the Ranchi Community of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The VanvasiKalyan Ashram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and the Ranchi community expressed their deep gratitude to the Members for their gracious visit.
