Port Blair, Apr 03: Following media report about out of order ATM counter of Car Nicobar, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC contacted Mr. RK Trivedy, AGM, State Bank of India and requested him to immediately repair the SBI ATM.
Mr. Sharma informed him that the ATM at Car Nicobar is not working since the past ten days causing problems to the account holders of the bank. He also added that people of almost 15 villages are getting affected by the non-functioning of the ATM.
Mr. Trivedy informed Mr. Sharma that the non-functioning of the ATM is because of a hardware problem. He added that immediately HCL Chennai was contacted and hardware is on way and the ATM will be in working condition soon.
