Port Blair, Mar 28: Mr. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC along with a delegation of CTET passed teachers met Mrs. Rina Ray, Principal Secretary, Education on 25th March, 2013. Mr. Sharma apprised the Principal Secretary about the grievances of the teachers, he also informed her that even though they have cleared the tough examination of CTET but yet their candidature to the post of teachers is not yet considered. He also informed her that many of them are reaching to their maximum age limit prescribed to be considered in Government Job.
Mr. Sharma also informed that, as per his knowledge, many posts of teachers are lying vacant in the department and he requested for their immediate appointment of teachers against the vacant posts. The Principal Secretary Education Mrs. Ray gave a patient hearing and assured to look into the matter.
