On the occasion of Army Day 2024, I extend my felicitations and best wishes to all Soldiers, Veterans, Veer Naris, Civilian employees & families of the Indian Army.
Indian Army has proved its mettle as a ‘Strong & Capable’ force in ensuring sovereignty, defending territorial integrity of the nation & extending assistance during times of need to the Civil Administration & Populace. The Indian Army plays a pivotal role in furthering India National Interests in the Maritime domain and is a potent force to be reckoned with. Today, Indian Army is at the cusp of major transformation and is putting innovative use of technology to find solutions to the emerging challenges in the overall security paradigm.
The Army Day serves as a poignant reminder of the unwavering dedication and sacrifice our soldiers make to protect the sovereignty of our country. Their commitment to duty, displayed in the face of adversity, is a source of inspiration for us all.
As we celebrate the Army Day, I compliment all personnel of the Indian Army and Army Veterans for their achievements and initiatives in keeping our boundaries & Islands safe and contributing immensely towards nation building. I also pay homage to our brave martyrs whose exemplary courage & supreme sacrifice in the line of duty is an inspiration for the entire nation.
