Diglipur, Feb 04: Check carefully before connecting your LPG Cylinder with stove because if you are unlucky you can see water coming out from the Gas Stove instead of Gas.
Believe it or not one LPG Customer at Diglipur has already become a victim of such blunder. According to our sources Mr. A Singaram, R/o of Vidyasagar Pally recently bought a new LPG refill at full price of Rs. 995 since he had crossed the limit of his six subsidized cylinders.
But to his utter dismay, when he connected the cylinder to the stove and tried to light it, he failed, upon which he took his stove to the repairing shop and there he was informed that his stove was perfectly alright.
After this incident he took his new LPG refill to the local Indane office where after inspection he was informed that his refill was filled with water.
Heavily disappointed, Mr.A. Singaram requested the Gas Dealers to replace the cylinder but authorities refused to replace it and told him to wait for any IOC official to visit Diglipur and verify the facts and after that only the replacement can be made.
Mr. Singaram tried to meet the Tehsildar but he couldn’t since he was out of town, after which he met the Pradhan and briefed him about the incident.
However, according to latest report just seven days back, Singaram’s LPG Cylinder was finally replaced by the LPG dealers but this entire episode leaves a simple question behind that how in the earth there could be water inside a LPG Cylinder, a question which no one could answer till now.
In case of complaints with LPG one can contact the Oil Industry Helpline at 18002333555 (Toll Free). But before that one must first explore the possibility of resolving the issue with the local dealer as done by Mr A Singaram.
