Port Blair, Dec 05: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President, Mr. Rangalal Halder, has formally submitted a request to the Secretary-cum-Director of the State Transport Service (STS) addressing the pressing issue faced by candidates appearing for the Forest Mazdoor Recruitment 2023.
In light of the ongoing recruitment process until 15th December, 2023, candidates traveling from Port Blair to Rangat are encountering significant challenges due to overbooked tickets of State Transport Service (STS) buses. This situation is impeding the timely arrival of candidates at their examination centers.
He suggested the State Transport Service for a provision to arrange an alternate-day additional bus services from Port Blair to Rangat between 06th December to 15th December, 2023 to alleviate the transportation difficulties faced by candidates, ensuring a smoother and more efficient conduct of the Forest Mazdoor Recruitment in the Middle Andaman.
He further emphasizes that this initiative by the State Transport Service will not only support the candidates but also enhance the overall efficiency of the recruitment process in the Islands.
