Port Blair, Sep 17: The residents of Car Nicobar Islands who were amazed after witnessing ships MV Nalanda berthing at Car Nicobar and MV Sindhu berthing at Katchal port, are now demanding the administration to release the schedule of the ships fifteen days in advance so that they can plan their travel accordingly.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, a resident of Car Nicobar Island Mr James thanked the Andaman Administration for instructing the ships to try berthing in their Island.
“Now that the attempt of the ships to berth in their Islands is successful, if a schedule is released fifteen days in advance, we will be able to plan our trip well in advance and without any hurry,” Mr. James added.
Until now, the Directorate of Shipping Services released the schedule for the ships traveling for Little Andaman and Great Nicobar Islands 15 days in advance.
