Port Blair, Jan 11: The Third day of meeting of the District Planning Committee for South Andaman District chaired by Smti. Abala Samaddar, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman resumed on 11th January, 2013 at 9.30 am to discuss and deliberate the draft District Annual Plan (2013-14) of South Andaman District.
Mr. K.K. Jindal, Chief Executive Officer (Ex-officio Secretary, DPC) Zilla Parishad addressed the District Planning Committee members, special Invitees and other officers of Administration present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the sectoral plan proposals/schemes of Andaman & Nicobar Administration and various issues on developmental activities and infrastructure proposed by PRI under various departments i.e. RD, PRIs & ULBs, Education, Sports, Arts & Culture, Revenue, Disaster Management, Relief & Rehabilitation, RCS, Shipping, Port Management Board, Electricity, Labour & Employment & Civil Supplies were discussed. The meeting ended successfully with a vote of thanks to the chair.
