Port Blair, Jan 11: The Environment Awareness Workshop was organized in our School in collaboration with CPR. Environmental Education Centre. The Programme began at 9.00 am were Students and Teachers assembled in School Auditorium. Dr.BM Bhatt, Principal, addressed to the students about the biodiversity and its important ,he stressed to students should involved in activity based work such as keep cleaning the surrounding area and every one think globally, act locally so that Our biodiversity will keep to the next generation.
The Mr. A.Gopal, Project Officer, CPREEC. Presented the Power Point Presented to the students and delivered about the Bay Island biodiversity. Further, Mr.Mishra, PGT highlighted about the Biodiversity and its uses in interdependent of Life cycle of each organism. Student Miss.Manisha, Class -X spoke on the making of bags from waste papers for the alternative of plastic bags. Finally the programme came to end with vote of thanks proposed by K.Subramanian, PGT.The Entire programme host by Smti.Navin Bhatt,GTT.
